Almost at the end!!

This week we made a lot of progress! The game is becoming something that I’m proud of and I think the rest of the team does as well.
We still want to add a ton of features but the current state is really good.

So, this week I finished the Menu where the player can select what level they want to play. As you can see in the small gif, the menu is a scroll with all the levels that we already created.

We decided to divide the Levels into Worlds. This way the player has a better notion of how much they have progressed in the game in terms of difficulty. This way it is also easier for us to organize the levels.

I also created a feature that lets us create new levels at runtime! However, this is only available to us developers. We wanted to be possible for the players to create their levels but we faced some issues there mainly related to creating files on mobile. We left this on hold due to time constraints.

Although the players won’t be able to create new levels, they still can access the scene where they can test levels and play with the available pieces.

We also change how we put items on the board. Before we chose which item we wanted and them we chose the location.

Now we have a drawer with all items available and the player just has to drag them into the board.

In addition to all this, the player, from now on, must think more deeply where each piece goes because now they can be limited to a certain quantity.

Thursday (May 26th) the MOJO will happen where we can test all the games that are being developed. We all look forward to this and hope you do as well.

Byeeee
