Citadel.one Ecosystem Update — April 2021

Hello everyone, and welcome to the 2nd monthly Citadel. One ecosystem update. This report will cover a comprehensive overview of all news, updates and metrics of the past month.

Metrics

Over the past month Citadel.one has achieved a lot in terms of growth of our user base and social media community.

We surpassed 1.5k members in our Telegram group (here) and surpassed 2k followers on Twitter, doubling from our previous month’s record! In addition, we continue to expand our communities across the globe, as we added Chinese and Russian versions of our platform, with more languages on the way!

Platform Updates

We made some updates to our platform and pushed multiple updates to our mobile app to ensure smooth running of both the platform and the mobile app.

Addition of SNIP-20 tokens

After a hardworking April, SNIP-20 tokens will be added to the Citadel. One Web & Mobile platform in the first week of May! This brings added functionality for users that are privacy centric, and therefore opens up the Citadel. One platform to an even broader spectrum of users.

Mobile App Updates

We pushed multiple updates to our app to ensure smooth running of the app and to fix a couple of bugs found in the system.

  • Fixed the issue of creation of multiple IOST accounts when importing an existing account.
  • Added memo option when sending assets that require memo.
  • Optimised stability of the app.

We were at the top of our game creating content for the month of March. Here’s all the written content we created or were featured in:

  • Sign up with anonymous email (Announcement): This article gave insight on the Citadel. One platform’s intent on securing users’ privacy by allowing them to sign up with emails that didn’t require any personal data to create.
  • Introduction to SNIP-20 tokens (Link): SNIP-20 tokens are a hybrid of ERC-20 tokens and Secret network operability, bringing a token with the operability of an ERC-20 token and the privacy of the Secret Network.

About Citadel.one

Citadel.one is a non-custodial Proof-of-Stake platform for the management and storage of crypto assets. Users can create public addresses for all supported networks with one seed phrase, connect their Ledger or Trezor device, or import an address generated by another wallet.

The analytical dashboard provides relevant information on wallets’ balances and networks’ main metrics. In Citadel.one, we standardize the semantics, making interactions with the platform as easy as possible. The same goes for network metrics. By using universal terms, we are making it easier for users to understand and compare networks.

One of the main functions of the Citadel.one platform is participation in the PoS consensus — users can stake and delegate their assets, claim rewards, and follow the latest network proposals in the voting tab.

Citadel.one offers its users instant cryptocurrency exchange services that allow fast and secure crypto assets swap. It is also possible to buy and sell crypto with a credit or debit card. Citadel.one users can track rewards, withdrawals, transfers, and deposits across all supported networks and add comments to these transactions.

Among PoS platforms, Citadel.one supports BAND network($BAND) Secret Network ($SCRT), Cosmos ($ATOM), ICON ($ICX), IOST, Orbs, and Tezos ($XTZ). We also support Ethereum, Bitcoin, and Tether ($USDT) for our users’ convenience. Mobile and desktop versions, new networks, including Polkadot and Ontology, are scheduled for the upcoming updates. Furthermore, delving into the idea of true decentralization, we envision Citadel.one a decentralized autonomous organization and a genuinely community-owned platform in the nearest future.
