Akash has been recently integrated on our platform bringing many features to it’s users. Read our comprehensive guide on how to stake $AKT via Citadel.one wallet!

Before you can get started staking on Citadel. One, you would need a Citadel. One account. We have created a guide on how to do that, which you can find here.

We have also written an explainer on staking, which you can find here.

Staking

To get started staking Akash on Citadel. One, visit our official website here and log in. If you don’t have a Citadel. One account, please read our guide on creating an account here.

If you don’t have $AKT on Citadel. One, you’d have to send some in. You can read a guide on how to send cryptocurrencies into Citadel. One here.

To add Akash wallet address to your Citadel.one one seed, follow these steps:

  • Click on “add address” in the bottom left
  • Create your one seed
  • Select Akash on the cryptocurrency list
  • Click on “next”

And like this, you have created an Akash address

You can now copy this address and send Akash to it. To stake $AKT, follow these steps.

From the wallet page, click on “Add nodes”.

To add additional nodes, press the “Add nodes” button and repeat the node choice process described above.

Enter the amount you want to stake, and then click “stake”.

Choose node for staking

Now select a staking node to delegate your AKT. A list of nodes will appear, we recommend the Citadel.one node because it has a 99.9% uptime and very competitive fees.

Change delegation amount

You can change the delegation amount for each node anytime by changing values in Stake share and Amount fields, pressing “Stake”, and confirming the transaction.

Undelegate

To cancel delegation, press Unstake next to the node you want to undelegate from and confirm the transaction.

And that is all! You can now begin receiving rewards based on how much Akash you staked.

To see the current reward rate, you can click here.
