Congrats to all C1 users, fans and followers with Citadel.one major update of the year! To ensure smooth migration, welcome to take a look at our guide!

Citadel.one is finally entering the new development stage. New version is ready to introduce lots of surprises to it’s users, including new networks metrics, improved portfolio management and analytics, unified transactions tracking, faster and more convenient interface and what’s more exciting — on later stages we will see extensions!

Yes, Citadel.one v2.0 was designed with Extensions in mind. Imagine one interface for all your favorite DeFi applications: Osmosis, Pancakeswap, Uniswap and so on — all in one place!

Bit later — governance. XCT holders are the real development drivers of Citadel.one. You will soon get a chance to influence and decide the future of your favorite project.

Let the Migration begin!

Well, while those are in plans, let’s focus on what we have today. When you open Citadel.one page after the update you should notice, there’s something different and new. You should see this kind of page in front of you:

If you see it, then congratulations, you’re in the right place and you’re ready for migration, click the “Restore” button.

Now you should see all the addresses that you had imported in the previous version of Citadel.one. In drop down lists of each network you can also view their private keys. Download a backup file, if you might need it in the future.

Note: Version 2.0 won’t support old version’s backup files just yet. But we are working on their compatibility!

To be able to migrate your addresses input your password and click on “Agree”.

Forgot Password?

If you forgot your password — no worries . You’ll be able to restore it. Just click on “Forgot password” as shown on the screen above.

To restore you password you simply need to log out. You can download a backup file and use it later to restore access just in case you remember the password all of a sudden.
Click on “Log out”, you’ll be redirected to Sign up/Sign in page. All you need now is to log in again using any email you want and restore your Citadel One-seed or other wallets if they were created outside the platform.

Restore One seed

For those who remembered their password — congratulations, you can start using, exploring, testing and just staring at your growing balances in Citadel.one right away.

Just a little tip: if you had your wallets created on Citadel.one platform, you will enjoy the new experience more if you restore your one seed also.
A bit confused? What was that migration about if not connected to your seed? Don’t forget, we don’t keep your seed, once it’s generated and written on the piece of paper by your own hands, it evaporates forever and from anywhere that can be called “online”.

So, now you are advised to restore it, believe, you life will be easier with your Citadel One-seed imported back. Just click on Restore, and follow the further instructions.

If our words were not enough convincing, or you simply don’t have One-seed yet, just “Skip” it and enjoy your day with new and updated C1.

That’s all for migration. We are looking forward for your feedback. If you still have any questions left or need supporting hand, use any convenient channel to communicate with us:

About Citadel.one

Citadel.one is a non-custodial Proof-of-Stake platform for the management and storage of crypto assets. Users can create public addresses for all supported networks with one seed phrase, connect their Ledger or Trezor device, or import an address generated by another wallet.

The analytical dashboard provides relevant information on wallets’ balances and networks’ main metrics. In Citadel.one, we standardize the semantics, making interactions with the platform as easy as possible. The same goes for network metrics. By using universal terms, we are making it easier for users to understand and compare networks.

One of the main functions of the Citadel.one platform is participation in the PoS consensus — users can stake and delegate their assets, claim rewards, and follow the latest network proposals in the voting tab.

Citadel.one offers its users instant cryptocurrency exchange services that allow fast and secure crypto assets swap. It is also possible to buy and sell crypto with a credit or debit card. Citadel.one users can track rewards, withdrawals, transfers, and deposits across all supported networks and add comments to these transactions.

Among PoS platforms, Citadel.one supports BAND network ($BAND) Secret Network ($SCRT), Cosmos ($ATOM), ICON ($ICX), IOST ($IOST), KAVA ($KAVA), BSC and Tezos ($XTZ). We also support Ethereum, Bitcoin, and Tether ($USDT) for our users’ convenience. Mobile and desktop versions, new networks, including Polkadot are scheduled for the upcoming updates. Furthermore, delving into the idea of true decentralization, we envision Citadel.one a decentralized autonomous organization and a genuinely community-owned platform in the nearest future.
