How to use Ledger with Citadel.one
Citadel.one platform supports hardware wallets. In this guide, we will walk you through the utilization of Ledger devices, showing how to add your wallet from Ledger to the platform and how to use it to complete operations.
How to connect your Ledger device to the Citadel.one platform
1. On the “Add address” page select “Import” method. find the “Import hardware wallet” tab.
2. Choose the Ledger tab.
3. In your Ledger open the app the address of which you want to create. On Citadel.one select the app you opened in Ledger in the drop-down list and click “Import”.
4. In the pop-up window choose the Ledger end press “Confirm”.
If an error appears, check if the app is opened in your Ledger. If it is and the error still appears, you need to find the lock icon on the right of the address bar, click on it and delete all the Ledgers that appeared. Then you need to complete a hard reload (it is a command + shift + r for Mac) and connect your Ledger again.
5. You can choose a derivation path. If there is already a checkmark on some of the addresses, it means it is already added to the Citadel.one platform. The interface also shows the native token balances for each address.
How to claim your staking rewards using Ledger
1. Open the XCT token page. In the right upper corner, you will see the “Claim rewards” tab. Click on the arrow.
2. Press the “Claim” button or “Restake” if you want to restake your rewards (Reminder: with Citadel.one Autorestake App you can auto-compound your rewards)
3. Confirm the operation on your Ledger device. You will see all the transaction details on your Ledger, check them carefully, and click “Approve”.
4. Congrats! The transaction will be done in a few minutes.
Important details
1. To create a BSC address you first need to create an ETH address.
2. To conduct any actions with XCT you need to turn on the blind signing first. It is a standard procedure for operations with any smart contracts on BSC or ETH.
