“The capacity to learn is a gift. The ability to learn is a skill. The willingness to learn is a choice”. — Brian Herbert

What is the biggest technological advancement that has the most promise for healthcare?

“FHIR specification taking off coupled with machine learning means healthcare can finally share data and use data, this is huge to open doors for all the great ideas that have stumbled in the past.”

How can Direct Primary Care (DPC) be an answer to some of our medical issues?

“Health is daily and health is life long. This means we must move to a focus on preventative practices with a holistics view of our bodies as a connected system, mind and body. Direct primary care powered by data, technology, and a dual sided incentive system that doesn’t need insurance is best positioned to execute on this.”

What projects should Citizen Health prioritize? Where can we make the greatest difference?

“Citizen Health has the vision to connect people and physicians directly, without middlemen, through an integrated app and economic engine. It will be necessary to focus on offering a platform with low friction to enter and try out so we all can learn and iterate. It must make the easy things easy and the hard things possible without much effort from users.”
