Citizen Premium Live Monitoring: Keeping You Safe In Every Environment

Whether you’re walking home late at night, meeting someone new, or traveling in a rideshare service, your Citizen agent has the ability to keep you safe through our Live Monitoring feature. By pressing the Blue Shield on your home screen, you are connected instantaneously with an agent who is available to you 24/7.

With Live Monitoring, you can live your day-to-day life knowing that you are protected. Depending on the situation you find yourself in, you can choose to connect to an agent with video and audio or simply as a text-only session.

You have ultimate control over how you interact with your agent and how you choose to be protected.

Follow these 3 simple steps to connect with your Citizen agent and initiate a Live Monitoring session:

  1. Tap the Blue Shield on your Citizen home screen.
  2. Choose between a Video or a Chat-Only conversation.
  3. Once connected, simply let your agent know you would like to be Live Monitored. You may pass along any information you believe will be helpful during this session, including your address or any rideshare details.

Citizen agents have multiple tools at their disposal to monitor you once requested. Once you permit location sharing, they can monitor your GPS location in order to send emergency personnel directly to you if needed. In addition, they can monitor your audio and video and can alert you to any ongoing incidents that may be in your immediate vicinity.
