A Citizen user reunited a lost dog with her owner this weekend in NYC.

Noticing a loose dog running down the street, Citizen user ‘danitellaa’ caught up to the runaway pup, grabbed the leash, and brought her to a nearby animal hospital. After fetching her some water, he broadcasted live video on Citizen to alert nearby users of the dog he’d found.

Kelly Cathleen, a Citizen user receiving an alert, also noticed Ronnie Cho on Twitter sharing a photo of a friend’s lost dog named ‘Tillie’. Realizing it was the same dog, Kelly shared the Citizen info with Ronnie, who was able to swiftly reunite the owners with Tillie, safe and sound.
