Commuters Rescue Man from Subway Tracks

Straphangers helped a fellow New Yorker who been pushed onto the tracks at the Myrtle Av (J/M/Z) subway station Friday afternoon. Video from Citizen user ‘lexyg’ showed several people pulling the man from the elevated tracks.
An outpouring of support came from Citizen users, one of whom said: “this is what we need more of unity ❤️.”
The man had reportedly been involved in an argument before he was thrown from the platform; his injuries weren’t serious. Police were searching for three men.
