Unexpectedly, my urban planning background provides the critical “why” that’s required when you move abroad
The other day, James Blick, a well-known content creator who focuses on helping people move to Spain, posted a CNN story about a woman who regrets her decision to relocate to the country my wife and I now call home.
In response, Blick made an excellent point on his Instagram page.
Paraphrasing, he said that if you’re going to make the move you need a “strong why.”
Dreaming about the move is one thing. But, after you do it, you will likely need a “deeper reason to push through.” Blick argued that you need to “know your WHY.”
