Greetings Reader
Welcome to our weekly CityStates newsletter. Through this, we will keep you updated with the latest exciting developments for CityStates games, our community events as well as to give our passionate community the chance to interact with the team or see some fantastic behind the scenes work done!
As the last week of November draws to a close, the development team and the community had their hands full yet again, the former ironing out those UI changes which we’re all excited to see and the latter composing guides in our latest contest for VIP passes. We also held a hero popularity vote as we eagerly await the upcoming pack sales. We would also like to take a moment to apologise to anyone who tried to unsubscribe to this newsletter last week and found it to be bugged, this has since been resolved.
Weekly Game Update Summary
Make sure to check out our weekend update thread on Reddit where we put a huge focus last week on Integrating the new UI as well as some general balancing. Usually we would upload the weekly gameplay video here, however as we are close to releasing our beta, we have decided to reveal these changes in the beta itself — ladies and gentlemen, let the hype begin!
Community Events
This week our community has been busy writing helpful guides to ease in newer less experienced players to the CityStates experience (results will be posted next week). That’s not all though, we also kicked off our community polls and have a new contest this week that will give fans the chance to add their own personal touch to the game.
Community Poll
The results are in! We held a poll asking fans what their top three most anticipated heroes are. Drum roll please!
Hero Lore Writing Contest
This week we’re giving fans a rare opportunity to submit their lore ideas for in game flavour text for our CityStates heroes.
Community NFT Rewards
The Stone Tile is our newest collectable NFT which is currently being given out to guide writing contestants who will end up having their content featured in our new guide library. Winners and links to our new set of guides will be published in next weeks newsletter.
VIP Pass Auctions
We have continued to hold auctions for VIP passes on Atomic Hub, however we want to mention that 94/100 Gold VIP Passes have now been minted meaning anyone hoping to combine two Silver VIP Passes into a Gold has limited opportunity left to do so!
CSM Token
The CSM token represents ownership of the CityStates IP. Holders of CSM not only show their support for the brand but will also receive royalties in the future for their participation in DAO governance of the IP development.

It’s been another very busy week for the team as we push towards releasing the beta in December. As we get closer to this goal we’d like to thank the community for all the support along the way. A project like this doesn’t just grow out of nothing and Dirk summarized this perfectly in his recent Twitter post which you can view below.
