Give a man a blog… Teach a man to blog…
The return. As of writing this blog I am nearing the end of the trimester for this year. After a three week break from my usual blogging schedule I return with fresh food for thought while also returning with the addition of a few grey hairs from my filming venture, but I digress. This weeks addition to my journey of following my particular bloggers material led to myself analysing how Kroll is not only able to maintain his viewership, but keep them coming back for more.
In previous blogs I had mentioned the fact that Kroll’s respect for his audience allowed him to gain a successful following and led to his success in the realm that is blogging. But I want to focus more on how he has managed to maintain his viewers attention and keep them coming back for more.
For myself, I know what I am looking for when it comes to learning more about the industry and everything there is about film. That being new and interesting insights that offer an opinion or view that I can’t find anywhere else. And I believe that Kroll, over the course his blogging life, has done just this. I had mentioned in a blog prior that Kroll both addressed his blogs to both professionals in the industry and new comers. But going deeper into that, each time he explored a different topic or piece of media, he always had an interesting or new spin on the topic that I had never heard before.
As I continue on my journey to become apart of the film industry I can attest to the very fact that Kroll’s opinions offer new and engaging ideas for people of both the industry and new comers. How you may ask? Well, as someone who is transitioning from the bottom of the food chain to hopefully the top, over the course of myself reading the blog and growing in my knowledge of the industry, every time I read I am confronted with unique ideas and opinions from Kroll that I had never thought of before.
By continuing to offer his audience with new and unique ideas about the film industry, Kroll has been able to keep his audience’s attention and keep them coming back for more every time his click publish on his latest blog.
