As the development of the city, transportation is an inevitable issue to deal with. As we can see, the ability to transport people usually sets the upper limit of the urban development. In the past several decades, Las Vegas has boomed both on economy and population. To solve the possible transportation issue in the future, Las Vegas and Navya Tech have made some new efforts.

Navya recently developed a leading autonomous vehicle, which has a maximum speed of 50 miles per hours and available space for up to 6 passengers each time. The new vehicle is completely environmental-friendly, using the rechargeable battery which can stay up to 13 hours operation. Besides, one of the most important benefits brought by self-driving vehicle is it can run 24*7, as long as it has enough energy.

I have to say this is a great trial for the further autonomous car development in the future, and the arrival of the autonomous vehicle will definitely make our life more convenient and safe. However, I believe the generation of the autonomous vehicle has not arrived. There are still plenty of unresolved issues hidden beneath the beautiful veil brought by constantly emerging technology. Do we have valid laws to deal with consequences after possible accidents? Does our government have enough ability to control the possible increasing unemployment rate due to the rising of the vehicles without human drivers anymore? There is still a long way to go on the development of the autonomous vehicle, but I do believe that day is coming soon.
