iFLYTEC AIUI: the Human-Machine Interaction Interface
iFLYTE is the largest AI and intelligent speech and language provider in the Asia-Pacific region. Recently it shows the speech synthesis technology by engineering a video of US President Donald Trump speaking Chinese.
The idea behind this video shows the strong power of AI voice-based technologies, which involve voice recognition, multi-language processing, machine translation and smart customer services. iFLYTEC also has already promoted the AIUI open platform, a powerful human-machine interaction interface based on voice technologies (http://global.xfyun.cn/blog/details?from=nav-1&title=QWJvdXQgQUlVSSBPcGVuIFBsYXRmb3Jt).
Personally, I think this human-machine interaction technology can go deep into all walks of life to improve urban intelligence. After applying AIUI, the machine can ‘hear’ and ‘speak’ and even ‘understand’ and ‘think’ when interacting with human. For example, inserting AI chips for voice recognition into home appliances and toys can achieve ‘smart home’; in the medical field, the transcription service can take down doctor’s note and AI diagnostic medical imaging; in courts, an AI system can streamline the evidence collection process and provide suggestions for judges when assessing a case. The future consideration may involve cross-global AI+ applications. Combing this technology with directions such as automobile, finance, home appliance, healthcare and education industry can also facilitate my own research.
