Recent years brownfield sites are reused to build housing which means some people will be living in these brownfield area. However there are numerous environmental issues along with those old brownfield sites which need to be eliminated before they are used for house building. One of the issues is the lead toxicity of soil in brownfield sites. Due to the source of brownfield materials which are ranging from used batteries to restoration painting materials, they all contain a high concentration of lead.
