Waste management is a problem faced by all the countries. The biggest issue in waste management is the difficulty to cultivate the recycling habit of people. On the one hand, learning how to sort and deposit recyclable waste takes effort and time, which offers no financial incentive to recycle. On the other hand, people have little way of knowing the recyclables they diligently sort out do not end up in landfills. The lack of visibility and trust in the network of waste management further disincentivizes recycling.

To date, a vast amount of garbage came out from large cities, but the improper waste management and the lack of awareness of recycling have cause disruptive impact on the environment like air pollution, water containment, and land erosion. Solving these problems will make a better city and a better world.

Using blockchains technology, people can track their waste with a unique digital ID. The consumer can trace and know what is done to the trash and where it is in transit. This will improve the accountability to the industry. In addition, by using cryptocurrency payments to reward people for recycling, a better incentive system can be created, while also improving the quality of life for people who participate in its recycling networks.
