The Clark-Shawnee Board of Education has engaged the major partners who will help bring the community’s vision for the future of its schools to fruition.

“With these partners in place, the design phase of the project will begin soon, and we plan to provide opportunities for anyone who wants to be part of the process to be part of this important work for the future of our community,” said Superintendent Gregg Morris. “This is an exciting time for the Clark-Shawnee community and we look forward to working with all residents to create school facilities that will meet the needs of Clark-Shawnee students for decades to come.”

SHP Leading Design will be the district’s architect, with Shawnee alum Josh Predovich as a member of the team. SHP’s relationships and knowledge of the community through the planning phase of the bond issue and commitment to school designs that foster collaborative learning environments made the firm the top choice for the $52 million project.

Peterson Construction will be the Construction Manager at-Risk for the project, chosen for their shared value of fiscal responsibility with the Clark-Shawnee community as demonstrated by Peterson’s proven track record of on-budget projects.

Motz Consulting Engineers will be the project’s commissioning agent, acting as the district’s advocate throughout the project with expertise in large facilities construction.
