Jumpstart Canadian Tire and Classroom Champions Partner to bring SEL to coaches and families

Jumpstart Canadian Tire and Classroom Champions have partnered to bring free, foundational Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) resources to Jumpstart’s community of coaches and families.

As a charity and premier SEL provider, Classroom Champions believes the athlete mindset is an invaluable tool to help teach kids the most important life skills, such as teamwork, perseverance, leadership, healthy living and more. Classroom Champions supplies athlete mentorship and curriculum grounded in these values to schools across North America. The resources provided to the Jumpstart community include some of Classroom Champions’ most powerful lessons and video content from Canada’s most respected and elite athletes, helping coaches and parents have important conversations with kids about how to grow and develop on and off the field.

Available through Jumpstart’s platform, this initiative will help coaches and families start important conversations around healthy social and emotional wellbeing with kids in youth sports programs and at home.

Jumpstart, a charity of Canadian Tire, has supported over 2.7 million kids across Canada. With the mission to Enrich the lives of kids in need through sport and physical activity, Classroom Champions is excited to also elevate the mental and emotional health of kids through this shared programming, creating a more well-rounded and supported child.
