When Classroom Champions and Ask, Listen, Learn, a program of Responsibility.org, embarked on a partnership over 7 years ago; there was no anticipating just how powerful and important this unit would become for the Classroom Champions community.

Classroom Champions’ SEL Foundations and Mentorship+ curriculum covers healthy living so kids can understand the positive impact of heathy choices and the negative consequences of risky behaviors, like drinking alcohol underage. The partnership with Ask, Listen, Learn, enables our growing community of Classroom Champions educators to facilitate important conversations about these risky behaviors.

Responsibility.org has just launched ‘We don’t serve teens’ — a campaign committed to reducing underage drinking and never serving, supplying for selling alcohol to anyone under the legal drinking age.

Classroom Champions is proud to be a part of the ‘We don’t serve teens’ campaign and support all business that participate. Keeping alcohol out of the hands of teens is critical to keeping underage drinking rates at record lows.

It is up to us and our educators to teach youth about the impacts of alcohol, but it is the responsibility of the businesses who serve and sell it to not make alcohol available to teens or anyone under the legal drinking age.
