Team Canada Champion Chats is back to connect Beijing 2022 Olympians and Paralympic athletes with Canadian school children

We‘re very excited to about the upcoming Team Canada Champion Chats 2022 Live Chat! The Winter Live Chat, will stream on February 23 at 12:30pm EST (English) and 2:00pm EST (French).
It will feature several Team Canada Olympians who participated at Beijing 2022 as well as Paralympic athletes who will be in their final preparations for the upcoming Paralympic Games. They will engage young Canadians by sharing their experiences, the lessons learned and the values gained throughout their path to the Games.
Stay tuned.. we will be revealing the names of the Live Chat hosts and athlete guests very soon!
In addition to the live chats, TCCC have released an entire dashboard of free educational videos and other resources for parents and teachers to bring the many lessons from the Olympic and Paralympic Games into their homes and classrooms.
For the next 4 weeks a new video from a different athlete will be released for you to use. You can share the featured video with your students, and then use the daily conversation starters to start a group discussion about the topic. There are also printable reflection worksheets for your students to express and capture their own thoughts about the video topic.
Dealing with emotions when things change, overcoming failure, working hard now to achieve big dreams later and moving on from success are only a few of the topics the athletes chat about in their videos.
