This month marked six months at my current role. It’s crazy looking back to see how much I’ve learned and changed in such a short time, and I am looking forward to what the next six months holds.

How well can the CEO articulate the vision of the company in a way that may cause people/companies to do irrational things? For example, how will she convince a potential employee to quit her current job to join what will certainly be a high-risk venture with low odds of success; or how will she convince an executive who knows more about her particular domain than does the CEO to report to her? How will she convince a potential customer whose job might be on the line if she adopts technology from the startup that might not be entirely ready for prime time vs picking a safer, more well known choice? How will she convince the next VC investor to part with their money and be a part of the startup journey?
