Community & Network

The cleanparty.net domain is now used for the community forums. The community site will be an important component for discussion and collaboration. We are using the powerful Discourse software.

The medium.com/cleanparty site/blog will likely be used as the publishing platform for party members who choose to publish their own content. In tandem with the forums, this will be a resource allowing expression of ideas and opinions and promotion of projects and campaigns.

cleanparty.org will become it’s own official dedicated online presence of The Clean Party with more limited static content and information as well as other standard political party and campaign features such as fundraising tools, downloads, directory of local chapters and partners etc. This may use a platform like Nation Builder or similar or may be a custom built website. Currently, cleanparty.org redirects to this site (medium.com/cleanparty).

cleanparty.us / clean.party are reserved for possibly hosting and/or redirecting to local chapters, if any ever exist. It is also a goal to help provide free resources and tools to get local chapters setup with proper online presence, taking the burden off of those local leaders.

A subdomain naming convention will be used such as:

city.state.cleanparty.us
town.state.cleanparty.us

and/or:

city.state.clean.party
town.state.clean.party
