Sprouted Routes blogger Liz Moody was long frustrated that “the health world can feel exclusive and intimidating,” which can prevent people from eating and feeling their best and is one of the reasons she wrote Glow Pops: Super-Easy Superfood Recipes To Help You Look And Feel Your Best (Clarkson Potter). This beautiful cookbook is filled with recipes for “healthy, nourishing (ice) pops that fill you with energy and nutrients and make you absolutely glow.”

Moody takes the hassle out of healthy eating with these 55 ice pops, which make great snacks or desserts. All you need is a blender or food processor and an ice pop mold. The ingredients are readily available ultra-energizing items like canned coconut milk, turmeric, chia seeds, matcha, kale and blueberries. Blend, pour, freeze, and you get to enjoy treats that are filled with nutrients, vitamins, and fiber — plus, they’re delicious and refreshing. She also indicates which are cancer fighters, will reduce bloat, improve metabolism, boost brain power, detoxify and make your skin glow.

While we had a hard time choosing, some of our favorite flavors include Turmeric Golden Milk, Roasted Carrot Thyme, Pumpkin Pie, Avocado Chile Lime, and Turmeric Mango Sunrise (recipe below).

Ice pops that are pretty, easy to make, luscious and also good for you? Oh yeah, baby. Get your glow on with this awesome new cookbook.
