ClearGraph joins Tableau

We are pleased to announce that ClearGraph has been acquired by Tableau.

Tableau is a leading company who pioneered a new era in the business intelligence industry with easy-to-use visual analytics software. Its mission is to help people see and understand their data. We decided to join Tableau because they share our values and vision for data in the enterprise.

We started ClearGraph in 2014 with the mission of making data more accessible to business users. For over three years, we have grown from a small outfit running out of a garage to a business serving customers all over the world, including several Fortune 500 companies. Today, professionals at thousands of businesses use our technology to unlock greater insight into their data with less effort, through natural language querying and smart analytics.

We plan to integrate our technology into Tableau’s platform to provide intelligent, conversational querying experiences to a much larger audience. This partnership will allow us to focus on extending and improving our technology, while leveraging Tableau’s network and resources to better service companies around the world.

Improving how humans and computers interact with each other is one of the most challenging and important problems of today. We are proud of the technology we’ve developed, and there’s a lot of work still to be done. We’re incredibly excited to doing it together with a company so aligned with our vision.
