FBG follows market-neutral strategies like funding/basis trade, statistical arbitrage, market making, etc.
3. Why are you looking to borrow capital now?
We want to borrow capital to increase our trading capital.
4. Why are you interested in borrowing from Clearpool’s protocol compared to other available options?
We can access unsecured liquidity with a very high degree of transparency as everything is recorded on-chain borrowing from Clearpool’s protocol.
We can easily show the new potential lenders to our pool with our credit history on Clearpool, which is more efficient for the new loan onboarding process.
5. What size do you typically borrow and seek to borrow on Clearpool?
We seek to borrow 20m USD-equivalent on Clearpool initially. The size will increase with our business demands.
6. Why would the Clearpool community lend to FBG?

Clearpool is a Decentralized Capital Markets Ecosystem, where institutional borrowers can create single borrower liquidity pools and compete for uncollateralized liquidity directly from the DeFi ecosystem.
Liquidity providers on Clearpool can earn attractive yields, with pool interest rates enhanced by additional LP rewards paid in CPOOL — Clearpool’s utility and governance token.
Clearpool LP tokens, called cpTokens, are the building blocks for a system of tokenized credit that will provide Clearpool LPs with risk management and hedging capabilities. As more institutions realize the benefits that decentralized finance can bring to their organizations, Clearpool will provide the new architecture to facilitate flows between the $120 trillion traditional capital markets and the burgeoning DeFi ecosystem.
Clearpool is backed by a long list of top investors from both traditional venture capital and blockchain, including Sequoia Capital India, Arrington Capital, Sino Global Capital, Hex Trust, Huobi Ventures, Kenetic, HashKey, and many more.
