ClearQuote adds “Offline” functionality to enable users to conduct vehicle inspections anytime, anywhere
Users can now perform vehicle inspections without the need for a network connection, thanks to the app’s offline capabilities.
Bangalore, India / Cardiff, UK — 29th June 2023 — ClearQuote recently introduced new offline functionality in its vehicle inspection mobile app, empowering users to perform vehicle inspections regardless of network connectivity.
Vehicle inspections are sometimes carried out in places with poor or no network connection, like underground car parks or remote countryside locations. Even in areas with low network connectivity, it often hinders the inspection process as images take time to upload to the cloud, thus increasing the total time taken to complete an inspection. This has been a recurring challenge for some of our customers and has limited the possibility of conducting inspections anywhere / anytime.
ClearQuote’s new offline functionality elegantly addresses these issues. Users can now conduct inspections without worrying about network connectivity. They can quickly add vehicle details, capture images, fill out checklists, and submit. All captured data gets automatically synced with the cloud whenever a stable network is detected, enabling access to AI-analyzed results later. To help untrained users carry out inspections and to ensure that correct images are captured, ClearQuote app incorporates real time AI. Users are guided to position the smartphone at the right angle(s) and distance from the vehicle and prevented from capturing images that don’t meet the ideal requirements.
This functionality is currently available for all current (and new customers) of ClearQuote / ClearInspect on Android (iOS version to follow). Customers in the UK and EU can access the app here and rest of the world customers can access the app here.
