Best described as eagle-eyed, a deep thinker, and a catalyst.

My interests include music, politics, history, culture, business, economics, religion, philosophy, art, photography, technology, science, fashion, books and anthropology.

I am blessed to have been brought up in a home with deep appreciation of life, faith and music. My parents had a very diverse collection of music; afrobeat, country, jazz, soul, gospel, hymns, blues, hi-life, rock, native African, latin beats, calypso, reggae, pop…

The legend has it that my parents had just got back from one of their usual night outs with friends when my Mum went into labour! I guess I must have been jamming well before I stepped into the stage of life — chortle!

Dad use to wrap-up his working week on his Akai and Sansui sets, dropping tracks while enjoying food and drinks with friends. They were sooo cool — I couldn’t wait to grow-up!

I had a Damascene Conversion in the summer of 1994, then the real adventure started! While I might not be where I’m supposed to be — really who knows? I’m sure glad I’m not where I used to be.

healingsprings.me is a platform for sharing life in all its facets. These experiences are encapsulated in the word Sabali, meaning wisdom in Bambara. Bambara is spoken in Mali, West Africa.

Wisdom I believe grows with our life experiences over time, and with that in mind this blog is organic. It’s alive and breathing with every breathe I take!

So enjoy,
