I see a divergence of political orientation in human evolution.

I’ve chosen to use the term political orientation to broadly explain the world views and predispositions of humans.

While education levels play a major part in this divergence it is not the sole differentiator.

What is more evident is a difference in aptitude for critical thinking, willingness to learn, empathy, and a desire to embrace meaningful change.

As a result of this divergence those that posses these attributes will end up in cosmopolitan cities across the world.

And overtime these cities will break up from nation states, linking up with similar cities to create a network of super cities.

Science and technology will play a huge role in enabling these networked or super cities of the future and they will be powered by a moral and ethical framework underpinned by fairness, equity, wellbeing, and justice.
