Classic Avocado Toast
A Healthy and Filling Breakfast

Ingredients:
- ½ ripe avocado
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon lemon juice
- 2 slices whole grain/whole wheat bread
- Salt and pepper to taste
Optional Toppings:
- Egg, herbs, garlic, balsamic vinegar, hot sauce, onions, tomatoes, jalapeno, red pepper flakes, flakey salt, etc.
Preparation:
- Place pieces of bread in a toaster
- In a small bowl, mash the avocado with a fork until desired consistency and mix in lemon juice—season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Drizzle toast lightly with olive oil and divide ½ the avocado mixture between each slice of toast.
- Add any additional toppings and enjoy!
Serves 2, makes 2 slices of toast
