Waiting.

Today my grandma passed away.

It’s sad that a death is what it takes to bring a family together. I spent this weekend with my extended family, pacing, eating, praying, singing, and waiting for God to take Grandma home. Cancer is relentless.

Many memories shared in this house on East Riverside Drive.

The youth has no concept of the tragedies that lay before him.

So many memories in Grandpa’s computer room.

Pie baking to soothe our souls.

Weary.

Grandpa’s old chair.

We needed something to lighten the mood.

Morning backrubs. Everyone was tense.

Closing the curtains.

The funeral is on Wednesday if you could please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers.
