I Will Likely Never Go To Space

So here is what I am going to do instead

What inspires me about space exploration is not what you think.

It is not the black holes, not the stars, not the possibility of going back to the moon, and none of the planets. It’s definitely not the complicated looking math. None of that about space inspires me.

What inspires me about space is the teamwork.

The teamwork it takes to get a spacecraft to space and back again.

The teamwork to develop new technology and processes to improve programs, to advance science and most importantly to increase safety of everyone involved.

It’s the 1 million parts that have to all be correct for a spacecraft to launch and return to earth.

Teamwork may be the capstone word. When you break it down as an individual there are five parts to teamwork.

1 — You Are Responsible for Your Responsibility

On a team you have the personal responsibility to do your part.

It your responsibility to keep yourself organized and on schedule. It's your responsibility to take care of your body and keep working towards your greatness.
