Why I Started
And Why Am I Continuing
I started writing on Medium in the fall of 2019.
I started for one main reason. A reason I have yet to succeed in. I am going to keep going even though I am still searching for my success story.
I started writing on Medium because I wanted to find a way to bring in more income. The truth is that I am still working towards the consistency and searching for my topic(s) that will bring in a decent side income that can eventually be my primary income.
This is not a how much I made article. This is the why I write article.
Knowing your why behind doing something is important. Just as important as having a dream that you want to achieve.
I started writing because of the promise of money. Medium seemed like (and is) a place where someone can start to write without having to figure out how to build a website and manage it.
I also started so I can learn. Learn to write better. Learn to communicate my ideas better. Learn more about my interests.
I do not allow myself to look at my stats. I know they are not great. Which is why this isn’t a stats showoff post.
It is a reminder that we need to remember why we started. Consistency does matter. It is something I am constantly working on…
