If only I could write about climate change like it was a self-help book.
Self help says: Everything is possible. It all comes down to you. If only you believe in it. Hustle culture tells us there are no limits to what you can do with the right mindset.
The more you work, the more work you get.
Self help says, think without limits and you can conquer:
- Productivity
- Time efficiency
- Grind culture
The Earth says…
You are enough.
Everything you need is already inside of you
Everything you need inside you is not outside you.
Accept your limitations.
Most of what you need is going to be found inside of you.
But you can’t sell that.
Have you seen what happens in a disaster?
What holds us together is structural justice and a community.
How we come to terms with our limitations and frailties allows every person to take part in the community.
