Meet the Editor

Credit: Madison Hunter

Hi everyone!

My name is Madison and I am the owner/editor of Climate of Change.

I’m currently a Bachelor of Science undergraduate student studying geoscience in Western Canada, with the goal of completing a Master of Science in Geoscience or Environmental Science in the future.

I have been a science communicator for almost two years, having brought you extensively researched and well-received pieces such as:

My passion for climate change and sustainable living began by watching David Attenborough documentaries when I was little and grew as I began to take courses in environmental chemistry, natural resources, and environmental impact assessment, and simply observed the results of climate change occurring around the world which furthered my knowledge and understanding of our impact on the planet.

My goal for this publication is to create a space where the curious and enthusiasts alike can learn about the latest advancements in environmental science, read news on climate change, and receive tips on how to live more sustainably. Climate of Change is also here to help tackle climate anxiety by bringing you articles that are free from hysteria, misinformation, and clairvoyant apocalyptic tendencies that seem to pervade most literature about climate change produced by the mainstream media.
