Introducing the Cool Hominids Podcast

We’re excited to announce the launch of Season 1 of the Cool Hominids Podcast on December 9th.

Our mission at Climate VC is gigantic but focused. We believe that the climate crisis is the biggest threat mankind has faced, but we are also filled with hope for the opportunity it presents. Around the world, some of the greatest minds are hard at work looking at how we can tackle the issues surrounding the climate crisis, both individually and as a species.

Every day, we get to speak to these great people — we learn about what they’re working on, what their thoughts are on some of the key issues in this space and we learn about how we as Cool Hominids can all participate in this mission.

And that is how we arrived at the Cool Hominids Podcast — a place for us to get inside the minds of people working at the cutting edge of climate innovation. These are the conversations that excite and energise us. That fuel our hope for our future.

Season 1 of the podcast will be eight episodes. Each week we speak to a different guest about a range of topics, ranging from plant-based alternatives to carbon capture and sustainable concrete.

Our first guest is Antony Yousefian, co-founder at Bx, who are building blockchain-based AgTech, which will help growers become carbon capture machines and start to repair the planet. Anthony spoke to us about how we can use AgTech to transform the agricultural industry.
