International Climate Change Development Initiative Africa Launches Her Sustainability Couch Series on #SDGs
In September 2015, Member States adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development which includes 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and 169 inter-linked targets. The Sustainable Development Goals are the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. They address the global challenges we face, including those related to poverty, inequality, climate, environmental degradation, prosperity, and peace and justice. The Goals interconnect and in order to leave no one behind, it ís important that we achieve each Goal and target by 2030.
While the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) have been agreed upon by all governments, their success relies on action and collaboration by all actors; governments, businesses, civil society, and investors. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) offer investment opportunities and challenges to the investment community.
Sustainability Couch Series on SDGs is a platform where all actors working in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) comes together and discuss the way forward towards achieving the SDGs through communication and innovations and also learn from experts to share ideas on way forward.
