When you are planning your holidays, the first thing you are looking for is a good hotel which satisfies your requirements. Parameters such as the location, the facilities, the price per night and the customer reviews are being counted when you have to make a decision about the hotel you are going to stay on your holidays. For most travelers, the stay in a hotel is quite important.

Almost two months ago I traveled with a friend to Prague, in the Czech Republic, for some holidays. As we were looking for a hotel, we took into consideration mostly the location and the price per night as we were going to stay for a week. We needed to stay near Prague’s city center so we found a satisfying hotel of 3 stars at an economical price.

The Gallery Hotel Sis is distinguished between other hotels and so it was our final decision. The hotel is located in Prague 4 which is next to Prague 1 (Prague 1 is the city center, where all the important monuments are located there). The location was pretty convenient as it had easy access to the city center through a bus line or tram line. The tram station Namesti Bratri Synku which is connected direct with the city square is less than 500m from the hotel as well as for the return, the tram station Horky which is around 100m from the hotel.

Alongside, the prices vary from 25€ to 35€ per night, a reasonable and economic price, suitable for any traveler. At this price, breakfast is included as well. As the hotel hosts mostly Russian visitors, breakfast includes both Russian and the rest of European food such as sausages, cakes, cereals, etc. The receptionists were helpful and all of them speak English and Russian. However, the rest of the staff was impolite and distant. The check-in is available from 2 pm so we had to wait for an hour in the lounge as we arrived earlier.

Even though the hotel website refers that the internet is fast in every room, the only room which had some internet was the lounge. It also mentions that in the room, caring products such as shampoo are included, which we never received. Although the walls were thin and the sound insulation wasn’t good, all the customers were quite and our stay was pleasant. Good quality mattresses, desk, TV and telephone were being included in the rooms as well as clean towels every two days. Taking everything into consideration, the hotel was worthy of its money and its location. If you are looking for an economic hotel in Prague accessible to the city center Gallery Hotel Sis is a nice option.
