As I reflect on the video first world that we live in, recording meetings has never been easier or higher quality. All you have to do is ask if it’s ok to record?, and then voila, it’s available not long after the session completes. However, it’s still not immediately useful, nor easy to get and find exactly what you need.

With Machine Learning it’s actually become much easier to get what you need in a fraction of the time that it used to take. After all, audio can be easily transcribed to text and be made searchable to get to the exact moment, or moments that you need, so that you, or your team can quickly take the necessary action on it.

I’m golden if I can search and skim. Who has time to sort through mountains of information in our “I need it now” world? It’s like when I’m at an amusement park with my kids, when we get there we’re all feverishly looking at the map to figure out where to go first and what’s the best plan to cover the areas we’d like to visit. Wouldn’t it be awesome if there was a map for a recorded video that could help me figure out which portions of the video to watch, skip, skim, react to or share?

I recently discovered such a video map. I was excited to demo the most sophisticated experimental version. It allowed me to tour through specific Topics, Speakers and Companies and when I click on the topic or speaker, then I can see which portions of the video those segments map to and how much time it will take to view and consume the information I need.

Now for a more practical day-to-day version, think of a simple automated Table of Contents composed of Topics and Sub-Topics. Imagine if every video recording suddenly had this automatically generated after the recording had been received. That’s a game-changer!

When I learned about https://clipr.ai, and realized Moments Matter…and they’re not created equal. Neither are moments equally relevant. That’s why CLIPr is focused on unleashing all the trapped potential stored within recorded everyday video to make it “Searchable”, “Skim-able”, more “Actionable” and soon “Query-able” via CLIPrGPT.

CLIPr currently supports Zoom, Google, Microsoft Teams and any streamable video URL or MP4 or audio MP3 file. In fact, the folks who make the Polycom (HP Poly) speakerphone in our conference rooms are a strategic investor.

Market positioning and Competitive intelligence make it critical to stay on top of all the latest market developments. There are treasure troves of recorded video throughout your company and across industries that have accumulated over the past few years, just waiting to be prioritized, identified and re-used.
