Who is CLLCTVE?

CLLCTVE is the rising professional network for Gen Z, operating as the premier talent marketplace for brands to source young creators for paid work. Through the platform, creators can build a digital portfolio, secure exclusive job opportunities, and participate in brand content challenges, all while building within a community of creators from around the country. Brands can source user-generated content at scale through content challenges, data sourcing and exclusive access to creators from around the country.

What is Techstars Startup Week?

Techstars is the global platform for investment and innovation. Its Startup Weeks, held around the country year-round, are designed to support and connect entrepreneurs, aspiring founders, innovation leaders, investors, technologists, innovation leaders and those interested in the startup community. The five-day events work to build momentum and opportunity tailored to communities’ unique identities.

The SHU Techstars Startup Week took place December 11–14th. Attendees had the opportunity to meet local business leaders and attend sessions and workshops led by industry experts, all while networking with like-minded founders and makers.

As a student, exposure to this level of talent and expertise is incredibly valuable. So Techstars came to our creators to craft promotional content for the event.

CLLCTVE x Techstars Brand Challenge

CLLCTVE currently has a network of 2,000+ creators from around the country. We tapped that group to create content across mediums, offering each participant immediate access to CLLCTVE, five students a spot on CLLCTVE’s Startup Week Panel and the top three creators $600 in cash prizes.

The challenge prompted creators to utilize their medium to showcase the value of attending Startup Week on social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook.

Creators were given one week to complete content within their medium of choice. Videos were limited to 60 seconds or less to make them applicable to all social platforms, and graphic design and photography were asked to consist of five or fewer images.

And the Winners Are…

1st Place — $300 Prize and Startup Week Panel Seat

Catherine came in first with an assortment of promotional graphics focused on showcasing the value and engaging viewers.

2nd Place — $200 Prize and Startup Week Panel Seat

Sam followed up with three conversational TikToks directed at possible attendants.

3rd Place — $100 Prize and Startup Week Panel Seat

Rachel secured third place with illustrated graphics tailored to the brand’s guidelines.

Each creator who submitted content is now actively participating in CLLCTVE’s beta platform, and the top five attended our panel at Startup Week to discuss how Gen Z is leading the Future of Work economy.

Each content challenge allows us to open up our beta platform to a wider community, while providing brands with deliverables from a diverse set of talented creators from across the country.

CLLCTVE’s Mission

CLLCTVE is a platform built by Gen-Z, for Gen-Z, and we’re democratizing the Future of Work economy. By simplifying the on-ramping process for creatives to find paid work, building a community of like-minded individuals looking to grow their careers, and providing direct communication between brands and creatives to produce user-generation content that best targets young consumers — with quick turnaround time — we’re revolutionizing what is means to create targeted brand content.

We’re excited to continue to connect brands with creators to craft authentic content tailored to their consumers.
