SYNOPSIS
The ANCIENTS crash on EARTH, starting life on our planet and leaving a spaceship TELANON. Presently a strange STORM passes by PRINCIPE, leaving people with new abilities and some with superpowers. An archeologist in Japan discovers a STONE filled with scriptures that emits a BLUE LIGHT and subsequently becomes lost. The archenemies of the ANCIENTS known as the NIKIYATU, led by the supreme leader MALVADO arrive on EARTH looking for TELEPORTATION STONES for building a HYPERDRIVE so they can CONQUER far-away planets. Our hero J.C. SALVADOR possessing the power of NATURALISM is unaware of all this but goes after his love JANDIRA to save her from the STORM on PRINCIPE, and first to understand what’s happening, then to defend the PLANET by creating a team of people with superpowers — the PRINCIPES, together with JANDIRA — FUTUREPREVIEW; ELEVEN — SUPERSPEED; TILA — POWERLIGHT; MESARO — CALM.
The whole planet is at risk, as explosions happen in cities around the world as the NIKIYUATU go about looking for the stones spread around EARTH. Meanwhile J.C. meets SABIO who tells him about the LARGE STONE at the center of the island that is the only SALVATION from the attack. J.C. together with JANDIRA, TILA, MESARO try to find it while ELEVEN tries to save the teleportation stones from all over the world by teleporting them to the moon. They meet a guide who is supposed to know the way to enter the OBO however the guide gets killed before he can lead them. JANDIRA has a premonition about the location of the STONE while touching him. They set on a journey through the forests, while TILA lights the way through underground rivers and dark caves, JANDIRA follows her vision and J.C. fights the bad guys who appear on the way. Meanwhile MALVADO is blasting SAO TOMÉ to pieces, putting the whole planet at risk, and the villagers need to be saved from certain death. There’s no turning back.
J.C. has a dream where he remembers his anointment as a PILOT by the IMPERIAL GUARD and his encounter with his old mentor IMBONDEIRO giving him new energy and reminding him that the LARGE STONE is really the ISLAND of SAO TOMÉ itself — A SPACESHIP. In an encounter with MALVADO now worried he might lose the stones, TILA and MESARO are abducted and transported to OUTER SPACE but J.C. and JANDIRA manage to escape. Subsequently they manage to make their way inside the island and open the ship’s door. The ship is sentient — her name is TELANON — and recognizes J.C. because of the small stone with writings he carries. Meanwhile, ELEVEN teleports people from the surface inside the ship. Together the people discuss their roots and their future, on Earth? They power the engines and the island starts to levitate; TELANON flies into space. In a large space battle TELANON overpowers the MALVADO battleship and the people transported to the MOON use their stones to teleport it to a faraway galaxy. But MALVADO manages to escape. In a final battle J.C. confronts MALVADO and pushes him into a precipice killing him. J.C. and JANDIRA finally have a change to realize their attraction and make love. The PRINCIPES use the stones to activate the HYPERDRIVE and fly away to learn about the HOME PLANET where their roots are.

TITLE CARD:
40.000 years ago.
Before us: SPACE.
Two tiny SPECS OF LIGHT cross the stars, as we track left to reveal — EARTH.
We zoom closer to reveal — SPACESHIPS.
WROOOM, one speeding after the other, trying to catch up, in a fervent race.
Now, in close proximity to Earth, the first ship pulls a reverse spin, coming around with gun turrents blazing
— and a space battle ensues: the two ships are locked in combat, skirmishing left and right, hitting each other with laser beams, until — BOOM one of them is destroyed, and vanishes into dust.
An alarm sounds through space, and a red light is flashing, as the second ship begins to lose stability, pulled into the gravity of EARTH.
On deck, inside the ship, we see IMBONDEIRO, the pilot and an IMPERIAL GUARD.
IMBONDEIRO
We’ve been hit!
IMBONDEIRO
We MUST NOT lose the cargo.
IMBONDEIRO
Initiate touchdown sequence.
Now, on EARTH, above us SKY, lit up by waves of fire, as the ship enters atmosphere.
In relation to Earth it’s huge.
Covered with scales like a prehistoric monster, flames blazing fired up from friction, it falls through the sky, sounding painful, as if scrathing a wedge into thin air, into an empty ocean.
And it’s gone.
The silence of the blue expanse before us, as we pull up towards the sky above, and the TITLES roll in.

WITH SYMPHONIC ADVENTURE MUSIC,
V.O. IN DEEP VOICE:
The year is 2015.
The UNIVERSE is on the brink of WAR. Meanwhile, in a far corner of the universe, the UNCONTACTED planet EARTH, is about to become collateral damage.
On the Island of PRINCIPE,
A GREAT UNKNOWN FORCE is unleashed, leaving
people with abilities they know nothing about — or even
where they came from.
But we will learn.
We meet JANDIRA — a GODDESS in mystery about her roots, spurred into the winds of history, unwillingly.
And J.C. SALVADOR — a WARRIOR of the IMPERIAL GUARD fighting to save her from harm.
Meanwhile… an ANCIENT STONE is revealed in the
highlands on the other side of the planet.
And a DARK FORCE they cannot control overcomes people ALL OVER THE WORLD.
The only hope for SALVATION lies on PRÍNCIPE.

Night. SAO TOMÉ.
We can almost feel the warm, balming sea breeze against our skin, and hear the crickets sing in the grass.
On a beach-side, a candlelit dinner, with JANDIRA and J.C. romancing, eyes locked on each other.
JANDIRA
What are you thinking?
J.C.
I’m thinking of only one thing.
JANDIRA
What?
J.C.
That I love you.
Her face overflown with a glow of happiness. Above us the sky seems to be glittering with a million stars.
He presents a small box with a ring.
J.C.
Will you be my wife?
Overjoyed and tears in her eyes, she kisses him deeply,
and then running her finger through his hair, she looks lovingly into his eyes.
JANDIRA
YES. I’m yours for ever and ever.
As J.C. eases the ring on her finger, a circular fade covers the screen and we cut to..
TITLE CARD: 6 months later.
[2 > VILLAGERS]
Early morning. PRÍNCIPE.
A storm alarm fills the air with its whiling thunder.
Group of villagers standing on a broken pier.
Young mothers, clothed in rags; babies on their backs.
Young boys have stopped playing.
Fear in their eyes.. Looking outward to the sea.
Wind arises.
A storm is coming.
[3 > BLUE LIGHT]
Continued. PRINCIPE — THE BEACH.
Gusts of wind blow through the crowd, kicking up red earth from below their feet; provoking cries of fear.
One mother rushes to cover her baby.
Another stumbles, falling to the ground.
Feet running towards the forest, just to escape from what’s coming.
A GLOW of BLUE appears from the skies.
THEN suddenly — a screeching sound, and we’re thrown to the ground. Something has hit us.
The screen goes dark.
[4 > JANDIRA]
Later. PRINCIPE — TV STATION OFFICE.
JANDIRA — A JOURNALIST, radio voice in her mid 20s taking a video call.
JANDIRA
This is the footage I just received from our reporter on Banana beach. What do you think it is?
JANDIRA
J.C?
Video starts to lose contact. Lights flicker.
JANDIRA
J, there’s something coming..
J.C.
What?
WHOOP. WHOOP.
Workers cover their ears as a sudden, high-pitched sound cuts through the office. A blue flickering light flashes behind the window through the storm raging outside.
Lights go out.
[5 > STONE]
Months before. JAPAN — HIGHLANDS.
TITLE CARD: Months before.
Light afternoon breeze, with bees buzzing.
CLACK-CLACK. CLACK-CLACK. A heavyset man, archeologist, at the opening of a cave, sweating profusely, knocking his mattock hard into the stone. Presently, dragging away soil he has dug, he’s unearthing a hidden compartment.
He gasps..
ARCHEOLOGIST
Extraordinary!
Pulling from within the ground a miniature object his eyes brighten with delight. He brushes off the dust with a small pincel; delicately holding the object on a handkerchief — now revealing…
A small STONE.
We see signs written all over it — unknown and hieroglyphical, they seem to belong to some ANCIENT LANGUAGE.
Presently, the weather darkens around. Birds fly towards the sky, seemingly escaping — chattering, with high-pitched screams that engender fear.
SWOOSH!
The STONE starts to shake violently. It becomes alive with blue lines running deep through the surface.
A ray of BLUE LIGHT bursts from the STONE towards the sky. The beam widens, widens..
And now it’s gone.
The archeologist can no longer be seen anywhere; his tools lie on the mountaintop — and we linger on this panorama of emptiness.
[6 > MIST]
Present. PRINCIPE.
A boat floating in calm seawaters.
We see fishermen shouting but hear no sound. Gusts of wind quiet the yells from the sea.
Something is wrong.
Presently, fishermen in despair, disappearing from sight, jumping into dark waters to no escape.
And now we see.
THE MIST.
Approaching.
Crawling closer, it swallows fishing boats one by one.
Slowly, very slowly.
Approaching.
Closing in on the beach.
Covering the pier.
Unstoppably.
[7 > YELLOW/TILA]
Continued. PRINCIPE — THE BEACH.
Blackness.
Darkness all around.
We look to the sky.
SUDDENLY — A GLOW of unbearable brightness.
Within the thick black mist a YELLOW GLOW comes through, the heating sun seems to fill the air.
Through the light we see SOMETHING DESCEND.
The heat is rising.
One moment passes.
THE LIGHT DISAPPEARS.
And it’s gone.
Like a soft blanket, a strange quiet now descends. Beginning to cover the forest.
Women running with no escape. We barely make them out in the mist.
We no longer hear their feet. The mist quiets all sound.
Kids yelling but cannot be heard. And now we cannot see them. Soon nothing in sight.
Darkness overcomes.
Stillness.
Tops of palm trees reaching out from the dark mist,
but presently, even they disappear from sight, leaving everything covered in mist.
The island is no longer seen.
And we cut to..
[8 > RADIO]
Meanwhile. SAOTOMÉ — MILITARY BASE.
Crackles.
Strange noises on the radio frequency.
We’re struck by the expression of FEAR on the face of JANDIRA — stuck of the Facebook screen; the video call has dropped.
J.C. SALVADOR — a military man in early 30s is fidgeting with the radio controls in one dusty corner.
J.C.
Come in. Come in!
But only crackles, static on the radio.
J.C.
I think we’ve lost the network.
Branches batter on the tin roof. A wind is rising. Crouched over radio equipment J.C. murmurs to himself.
J.C.
There is no use.. they can’t even get a radio connection.
J.C.
Principe. Come in!
Palm trees flap and scratch against panes of windows that have seemingly gone uncleaned for years.
Moments pass.
Standing quietly at a window, now staring towards the sea behind the station, J.C. has an air of someone who spends long nights alone.
Quietness.
Suddenly, a scratchy, desperate, voice comes through.
JANDIRA
J, help, help!
And then she’s gone.
He tries again.
J.C.
Jandira. Come in. Jandira. What the hell is happening?
J.C.
Come in.
But there is no answer. It’s all gone quiet.
We linger for a moment and swipe to…
[9 > MALVADO]
Meanwhile. LUANDA — NIKIYUATO BASE.
We see a group clothed in black robes, circled around a large circular screen.
The events from PRINCIPE play back in high resolution:
Fishermen leaving their boats. Women running on the pier. A YELLOW GLOW in the midst of the darkness.
Among the faceless robes a tall figure cloaked in a dark red veil faces us.
MALVADO — the leader of the NIKIYUATO. With an air of confidence, he is almost likable but his face is resolute and stern. He’s here for a reason.
Now we see where he’s looking.
A huge screen behind the robes — on it J.C. SALVADOR, standing on the beach we left him.
MALVADO
This is the single military officer posted in SAO TOMÉ. The base was disused since the Americans left, and the Angolans have taken it over.
HOPE
A member of the IMPERIAL GUARD?
MALVADO
We don’t know. But we need to watch him.
We linger on the emotionless face of MALVADO.
And swipe to…
[10 > HELICOPTER]
Meanwhile. SAOTOMÉ — THE BEACH.
J.C. alone on the beach; towards the North strong winds are stirring the sky.
For now it all seems quiet… until..
J.C.
Oh..
Something dark on the horizon, approaching.
Birds leaving seaside.. sprawling on hilltops, heading towards middle forest. Hundreds of people standing on the beach to see what’s coming, but still they cannot see what’s there.
In a deep, hardened voice J.C. remembers.
J.C.
I know these winds.
Birds and trees stop making a sound, a sudden quiet fills the air.
We hear a siren.
J.C.
This is it.
He runs to the helicopter platform, above the military building and prepares liftoff. The helicopter rises, as people on the beach follow it with their eyes.
And we cut to..
[11 > DREAM AWAKEN]
Meanwhile. PRINCIPE — THE BEACH / TV STATION.
Dream sequence.
JANDIRA running towards J.C. and laughing,
they play on the beach,
touches, smiles,
they seem to be cut off from the world,
without noticing anyone.
Jandira wakes in sweat.
JANDIRA
Oh.
She is floating in the air, a few feet above the ground.
Outside, the mist has gone.
As we fly through the rainforest, we see hundreds of people floating.
Waking up. Shouts of surprise and anger.
Amazement.
[12 > HOPE]
Meanwhile. LUANDA — NIKIYATU base.
MALVADO
The ANCIENTS knew we were coming.
In front of him, inside a hologram shines a young girl,
innocent-looking and sweet.
HOPE
There’s no turning back.
HOPE
The rocks are spread across the planet. And we need all of them to build the hyperdrive.
HOPE
Do it.
Again, on the screen we see a playback of J.C. and JANDIRA having dinner in S. Tomé — in a different time. Dancing. Having fun. She laughs with a glitter in her eyes. And then J.C. kisses her passionately.
MALVADO
I’m sick of thee two. Turn it off!
HOPE
We need to learn more about them.
HOPE
JANDIRA is the key.
The DARK ROBES bow their heads in unison.
[13 > LEVITATION]
Meanwhile. PRINCIPE — FOREST.
Everybody is unharmed but slowly people are starting to realize something is different.
Everybody on the islands has the ability to levitate graciously above the ground.
MESARO levitating in an OM yoga position, neck extended upwards, staring to the sky.
Within a few meters in front of him, TILA levitating, embraced by a ball of yellow light.
MESARO
Strange things this mist has brought.
[14 > REPORTING]
Meanwhile. PRINCIPE — TV STATION.
There is still no electricity.
JANDIRA
I don’t know if anyone will see this now, but GOD, let this be seen when all of this is over.
On a monitor we see her speaking.
Generators roar as JANDIRA is visibly trembling,
her voice shaky — but she regains her posture, standing in a spotlight in front of a camera, and begins:
JANDIRA
Today PRINCIPES suffered an unknown force that left people affected by unknown forces.
JANDIRA
There are reports of people levitating from all over the island. And we have video of a voice that was heard from the skies.
IN THE VIDEO, a thunderous voice echoes through the island, as if the ever present voice of GOD.
HOPE
Do not be afraid.
HOPE
We come in peace.
People look up in fear and amazement. Some fall on their knees, praying. God has come.
JANDIRA
Some believe it is the second coming.
JANDIRA
The cause of this is still unknown.
JANDIRA
But my people, we all have heard the story of the ANCIENTS.. We must go…
The report is disrupted, as J.C. storms into the TV studio.
J.C.
Jandira! We need to go!
[15 > WATERCROSSING]
As J.C. and JANDIRA climb into the helicopter, ELEVEN jumps in and hides at the last second. MESARO and TILA are already inside. They rise above the rainforests and head to S. Tomé.
As the helicopter rises, they see people crossing the water in a diagonal formation, like that of a flock of birds.
Only a few meters above the water, their toes touching the waves below, some laugh, some are afraid.
But they all go.
As the last person touches on water, the island begins to sink, — and soon it is gone. People from small fishing villages fall through the floor as everything that’s on the soil transforms into a transparent mush. The sea and the forests fall through and become one, with fishes swimming between the tree-trunks.
MESARO is quiet, looking outside the window, below on his island, with sadness present in his face.
[16 > RETURN]
Hours later. SAOTOMÉ — FOREST.
The Principe people reach the beach where they are welcome. A chatter of questions and disbelief follows. Somehow, the Principenses no longer float.
The helicopter loses it’s ability to fly, crashes, leaving the group alone, stuck in the woods. Together they journey to the inside of the island to find answers.

TITLE CARD: 6 months later.
We’re at a children’s party at a McDonald’s.
Screaming.
CRASH.
Something hits a car in the vicinity.
Kids run outside.
BOOM!
A dead HIPSTER flies into glass, breaking the McDonald’s window, shards filling the room.
Explosions afar.
Closer.
Moment passes.
Strange quiet ensues..
A ray of BLUE LIGHT.
BOOM.
Suddenly — a HUGE EXPLOSION takes down the whole building, flattening everyone inside.
Wider from above.
The whole of Shinjuku is in ruins.
We linger for a moment and swipe to..
[2 > GLOBAL]
Flashforward cont’d. CITIES AROUND THE PLANET.
Michael Bay moment with global cities showing the same thing happening around the world.
Rays of BLUE LIGHT shoot up in HONG KONG, SHANGHAI, BEIJING, BUENOS AIRES, LAGOS, MUMBAI, SAO PAOLO, JAKARTA, JOHANNESBURG.
Now, SPACE.
We see the Earth. Rays of BLUE LIGHT embrace the planet lit up in a blanket of glow.
Strange quiet.
We zoom into.. RIO — STREET.
ELEVEN runs through streets at SUPERSPEED — pushing something into people’s pockets.
BOOM.
A BLUE stripe of LIGHT shoots up from the beach towards the clear sky.
Then, JAKARTA — STREET.
We see ELEVEN attaching what seems to be a copy of that small OBELISK to each person!
BOOM.
People running.
Cars crashing. Shards of glass and metal flying through
the city — turned into CHAOS.
We linger and cut to..
[3 > SABIO]
Morning, months before. SAOTOMÉ — CAO GRANDE.
TITLE CARD: Months before.
A moment of total CALM.
Birds chirping. Heating midday sun.
J.C.
Stay back. SABIO will only see me alone.
MESARO, TILA, ELEVEN, and JANDIRA wait.
J.C.
I will meet you back here.
And he heads out.
The peak of CAO GRANDE — 2 men standing face to face.
J.C. meets O SABIO — his mentor.
SABIO
Listen carefully.
SABIO
Within dense rainforest at the heart of OBO… Below the mountain, deep deep down below — lies the STONE.
Tropical panorama surrounds us, a display of nature that abounds in wealth of plants, birds, animals.
SABIO
People say that small STONE keeps OUR ENTIRE WOLRD in balance.
J.C.
They also say this is just a story.
A pause.
Looking straight into his eyes, with calm.
SABIO
Remove this stone… and you reveal the secret of SAOTOMÉ.
Clouds darken as a spaceship appears on the horizon..
SABIO
You need to go. Now. Run.
SABIO
You will find a guide at CLUB AFRICANA, he will lead you. Tell him about the stone. It is the key.
And he puts his hands on J.C.’s shoulders
SABIO
Good luck. Your time has come. Remember, this is the only way to stop the invasion..
And we cut to..
[4 > MALVADO]
Same night. SAOTOMÉ — AFRICANA NIGHTCLUB.

In the shadows, appreciating the view from the corner of the club a toda boa popochuda gostozuda in a miniskirt slowly swawying to the rhyhtm of a Kizomba beat.
MALVADO enters and as he walks people spread to 2 sides in fear and respect. He captures her eyes with a look and his confidence. She accepts, and follows to the dance floor and as they slowly grind to the beat.
J.C. and JANDIRA enter, followed by MESARO.
J.C.
This is him.
JANDIRA
This is not the guide. I feel danger. We need to go.
We linger for a moments and cut to..
[5 > PLAN]
Next morning. SAOTOMÉ — DIRT ROAD.
Dry red soil flying from below the wheels, a speeding truck passes and J.C. jumps on, pulling JANDIRA inside. MESARO and TILA follow.
In the back of the truck.
JANDIRA
They NIKIYUATU have been here for months. Why have they not attacked yet?
J.C.
We need a plan. They want to take over the world.
MESARO
We need to stop the destruction.
TILA
But he’s only a boy.
J.C.
He’s the best option we’ve got. It will have to be him.
ELEVEN.
I will do it.
WHOOSH and we swipe to..
[6 > GUIDE]
Same night. SAO TOMÉ CITY — SHOP.
In the back of the shop a dark figure behind a wooden table looking at a map a bottle of Angolan beer in hand.
There’s no electricity as the power has gone out. And the shop is lit with small candles.
J.C.
So you know where this is?
GUIDE
Yes
JANDIRA fidgeting with her skirt. Uneasy. It’s night but the heat is still unbearable.
She comes closer.
JANDIRA
Give me your hand.
JANDIRA touches his hand with her forefinger and for a moment goes into a sort of a trance.
The camera lingers on her body as she shakes noticeably, candles reflecting on her skin, visibly heating up, as drops of sweat form on her body.
The guide becomes uneasy, pulling back his hand.
GUIDE
I’ve enough of this. You will sleep here and we will leave first thing in the morning.
[7 > ELEVEN]
Continued. TAIWAN — DABAJIAN MOUNTAIN
ELEVEN is zik-zaking between the mountain-tops, as a group of DARK ROBES is trying to catch him.
In the room, J.C. is communicating with ELEVEN through SMS messages, he responds while runnning.
J.C.
ELEVEN, can you help us get to the CENTER OF THE ISLAND? We need to find a stone inside.
ELEVEN
The DARK ROBES are strong, I need all my power here.
BOOM, one DARK ROBE throws an explosive at him, destroying a mountain peak.
Barely scathed, ELEVEN circumvents the attack, and responds to J.C.
ELEVEN
Do you know the exact location?
J.C.
We don’t know where is it yet.
From above, it looks like the mountain-tops are bathed in a blue light, with a blue stripe crossing each top, followed by an explosion — BOOM!
ELEVEN
You need to find a way.
BOOM, the next top explodes, and the mountain comes crashing down, revealing a cave, inside glistening a small STONE — and SWOOSH, a BLUE LIGHT shoots up towards the MOON, as ELEVEN teleports.
And we cut to..
[8 > PREMONITION]
Next morning. SAOTOMÉ — FOREST
J.C. and JANDIRA following the GUIDE closely. Behind them TILA and MESARO.
JANDIRA
Yesterday, when I was touching the guide, I saw something. I think I saw what the stone leads to..
JANDIRA
I saw all of us rising.
They reach a FOREST VILLAGE, with TREE PEOPLE
welcoming them. The group rest in a shack. A group of villagers has gathered around the shack to see and greet the newcomers.
The GUIDE is cutting a melon, and other fruits to offer to the group, and rest for a moment.
BOOM.
SUDDENLY — an EXPLOSION blasts open the back of the shack, killing the guide in an instant.
JANDIRA takes cover behind an old fridge.
J.C. hit to the ground, gathers himself up slowly and goes to the back to investigate — but there’s no one there.
He asks a woman if she saw what happened.
WOMAN
A light came from the sky.
We linger on the amazement of the villagers and the worried face of J.C.
Back inside, J.C. urges others to move on.
J.C.
We cannot stop. It’s too dangerous. Something is after us — and they already know we are here.
[9 > TEMPER]
Night. In the forest.

A silver ship gleans over the destruction — the NIKIYUATSU SPACESHIP casting a huge shadow as it rises slowly from the ashes of SHINKUJU.

Dream. LUANDA — ABOVE CITY.
TITLE CARD: 10 YEARS AGO
Black metal monster, luscious, shiny — glistening in sunlight as black gold.
Slowly. Rises towards the sky.
The IMPERIAL GUARD WARSHIP emerging from the midst of the deep precipice.
CANDONGA.
We linger on its shape and form floating graciously above the metropolis.
The ship is as shiny from the inside. At the helm in midst of floating controls stands a tall man
IMBONDEIRO. The last of the ANCIENTS to survive the CRASH, a mentor at the IMPERIAL GUARD ACADEMY.
And we swipe to even deeper in the past

[12 > UNDERGROUND]
Present time. PRINCIPE — DEEP BELOW MOUNTAIN.
Large boot hits a pool of water.
Rock-sides glitter with dripping water-droplets. We’re surrounded by waterfalls in a display of an unbelievably lush underground wonderland.
J.C., sweating, with cuts and scratches running on his muscular arms pushes forth, wrestling the mud and wet soil wading through the underground river.
Next to him, TILA with her hands above her head creates a ball of light that creates shadows in the walls and the dark blue of the underground river below their feet.
JANDIRA and MESARO following after them.
The cave ends at a wall. They reach up, struggling across, they climb rocks to reach a precipice above, and another tunnel that finally ends on a path in a grove.
The sun is already low. Presently, before us an amazing display of nature. Towering Papaya trees, Sape-sape with its spiky fruits, imbondeiro, and the Maqueque, banana and Jaca abound in the forest in a display of richness, bathed in golden light.
Jandira emerges from the back, and lies her arm on J.C.’s shoulders, tired.
JANDIRA
This is not the right way.
JANDIRA
I think we’re lost.
J.C.
We need to rest.
And we cut to…
[13 > CAMP]
Continued. SAOTOMÉ — BELOW FOREST.
And they set up camp.
J.C. climbs a fruta pão and brings down a large fruit that they cook as the darkness falls.
J.C.
I’m sorry about before.
Stars above, as the campfire burns and birds chirp around. A quiet and romantic moment.
She’s looking around.
JANDIRA
We have to save all this.
Darkness fills the western sky as the NIKIYUATU SPACESHIP floats in close space, an everpresent reminder of their presence.
Moments later a ROAR.
J.C. awakes with his head on the ground.
JANDIRA is gone.
MESARO and TILA are no-where to be seen.
He grabs a branch with fire, and takes a few steps towards the bushes.
J.C.
Jandira? Jandira?
And we cut to..
[14 > CAPTURE]
Continued. SAO TOMÉ — FOREST.
JANDIRA fleeing alone through the forest hunted by the NIKIYUATU spaceship with a CIRCULAR LIGHT beaming down on her as she rushes through the forest in the night trying to hide.
She recognizes the familiar BLUE LIGHT through the leaves, slips on the wet ground, struggles up, turns around to run in another direction.
But it’s too late.
MALVADO energizes the TELEPORTATION STONE and
SWOOSH — a BLUE LIGHT beams down from the NIKIYUATU SHIP — and she’s teleported on board.
MALVADO
We have her.
HOPE
Bring her to me.
JANDIRA is taken before HOPE, the hologram with a small girl inside. She speaks in a tiny, sweet voice.
HOPE
Where is the stone, JANDIRA?
HOPE
Tell us where is the stone.
JANDIRA stays quiet.
HOPE angers, and the sweet, innonent child in the hologram transforms into a MONSTER.
HOPE
Where is the STONE?!
And we cut to..
[15 > TELANON]
Night. PRINCIPE — FOREST.
A small glistening river runs through the bush. Waving the burning branch in front of him, J.C. is desperate.
Behind us revealing a vast view over virgin rainforest. And in the far end — the Cao Grande peak, where J.C. met SABIO. He looks back…
J.C.
SABIO, I hope you’re right.
J.C.
The stone is the only SALVATION.
He now summons the POWER OF NATURE — a group of birds appears to lead him.
J.C.
Help me.. Help me find it.
J.C. directs his vision to a group of birds and makes them fly in a circles, drawing the IMAGE of the 2 islands of SAO TOMÉ and PRINCIPE with their movement.
Now led by the birds, he pushes forward to find the SALVATION STONE. Pulling weeds, struggles through the wet, slippery soil, grabbing branches.
SUDDENLY — J.C. falls. Darkness. He’s lying on his back.. unconscious. Sound of rocks falling. When he awakes, he’s hanging by a thread from the top of a ravine, saved by a tree. THE IMBONDEIRO TREE.
In front of him, within a small cave, between rocks, he notices a small STONE.
Presently, J.C. swings himself to the side, trying to crab a branch, he fails. He tries, again, and manages to throw himself onto a ledge, and then use a liana to swing himself on the edge of the small cave.
Now climbing on his knees to the back of the cave, he sees it clearly — it’s shining, the STONE covered in SCRIPTURE, set between two rocks.
One rock above it. One below it. The small STONE keeps the two larger rocks from falling.
J.C.
This must be it.
He takes a strong breath, and reaches for the STONE
— pulls it out from betweent the rocks.
Now the cave begins to shake, firstly quietly, but with a rising power.
Presently, walls being to crumble, and now a fault line runs through the ground, leading to one wall.
And there the wall shifts down, opening a doorway, revealing what seems to be a huge dinousaur scale stuck in the ground, behind which a light is barely seen.
He crawls to the opening behind the scale. It’s hiding a portal but there’s only darkness behind it.
In a deep female voice, that seems to be coming from below the ground, as from the depths of history, we hear:
TELANON
IS THIS YOU, THE FORCE OF NATURE, CARRIER OF THE STONE? I HAVE BEEN EXPECTING YOU.
J.C.
I’ve been sent by SABIO and IMBONDEIRO.
J.C.
I’ ve come to protect SAOTOMÉ.
And we cut to..
[16 > TILA/MESARO/SAVE]
Meanwhile. LUANDA — CITY.
TILA and MESARO are stuck within a container floating above an arena, with masses of people at huge concert.
The Angolan superstar TITICA dropping her beats to a booty-popping palm-wine-happy crowd.
And there’s ELEVEN — caught in a net. Security dragging him to the stage.
TITICA
We have a suprise for y’all!
On stage, DARK ROBES use a TELEPORTATION STONE to beam ELEVEN’s inside the glass container.
People cheer.
Hands rise in the crowd in amazement. ELEVEN wakes, his blue stripe of SUPERSPEED creates a beautiful BLUE GLOW inside the container.
But he can’t get out.
Meanwhile, JANDIRA is speeding on a dirt road on a motorcycle through LUANDA.
Above, behind her MALVADO on a SPACESHIP chases her to the depths of a deep quarry.
TILA and ELEVEN concentrate their will together.. We see sweat on her forehead and tears in his eyes..
Suddenly — The CONTAINER starts to shake violently, a YELLOW light.
ELEVEN
We can get out of here. TILA, MESARO, just hold my hands and lock your mind on J.C.
And now the CONTAINER EXPLODES with light —
a bright beam shoots out from the crack embalming the container — a mixture of BLUE and YELLOW, presently cuts the container in half, as if hot and melting, and now cascades through the field, then shoots towards the sky.
ELEVEN and MESARO and TILA are gone. There’s no-one in the container, hanging idle in two pieces.
Inside the cave, J.C. watches the 3 appear out of thin air, only with a trickle of BLUE LIGHT reflecting from the wall for a second.
They hug J.C. on rejoicing their reunion but TILA remains weak. She has overused her power, and soon goes into shock, then falls down in a comatose sleep. †
MESARO is weeping next to her.
MESARO
What’s happening. What can we do?
J.C.
This is it. When have to find why we’re here. This is where where SABIO told us to come.
J.C.
There has to be something here.
MESARO
I can’t stay here. I have to do someting.
And he runs out and climbs the mountaintop to find help.
Meanwhile.
TELANON
Enter the portal, then follow my voice through the dark, Therein you will find a solution.
TELANON gives them the word to begin. They follow through the portal into a large cavernous room, in the middle of which lies a lair with a throne.
Now suddenly lights across the cave begin turn on. From windows across the cavern, light bursts out into the night so the whole mountain is illuminated. Rocks start crumbling, revelaing more and more windows — but they are not window at all, but the lower part of a lake above them — and they can see through.
J.C. sits on the throne.
And we cut to…
[17 > THE ORDER]
Meanwhile. SAOTOMÉ — ABOVE ISLAND.
NIKIYUATU SPACESHIP floating over the island, inside MALVADO gives THE ORDER.
MALVADO
Do it.
We see the eyes of HOPE as looks below towards the islands, with tears in her eyes.
HOPE
I am sorry this had to be this way.
And we cut to..
[18 > DEATH]
Continued. SAOTOMÉ — ABOVE ISLAND.

Below the NIKYATU SPACESHIP — DESTRUCTION ensues on SAOTOME.
Time seems to slow down as palm trees get ripped into pieces by explosions before our eyes.
People running as their houses are torn from the ground and piece by piece the island is destroyed.
Slowly every piece of vegetation on the island is destroyed. SAOTOMÉ is being destroyed, and with that the hope for the whole planet.
Standing on the mountaintop.
MESARO
My home..
Now MESARO extends out his hands above the islands, focuses his sorrow; now floating above ground, he uses sound waves to calm the crowd below in the destuctiong.
Pain in his eyes as this is the only way he can help.
MESARO
I am weakened.
As the last trees falls and the vegetation is destroyed the ship arises from the depths and MESARO falls.
MESARO dies peacefully.
ELEVEN, watches, in his eyes, vengeance is born.
And witnessing from above, from the safety of his NIKIYATU ship…
MALVADO
Finally.

J.C. on deck with ELEVEN, low moment, sobbing as he sees the destruction, sees MESARO is dead and TILA has fallen into a state she may never recover from.
J.C.
We need to save the people.
J.C.
ELEVEN, I need your help.
And we cut to..
[2 > THE RISING]
Meanwhile. SAOTOMÉ — SEAWATERS.
Rocks crumble. SAOTOMÉ continues to rise slowly. Now the island floats a few meters above the sea.
Wings stretch out.
Presently, the whole island is rising faster. Fault lines run through the ground, and rocks crumble faster and faster.
TELANON
I was waiting for this.
Above in the sky the NIKIYUATO SPACESHIP approaches.
MALVADO
It’s rising. We have found it.
Now SAOTOMÉ is levitating. Shaking. Water below joins into one as the island rises, until no part of it touches the sea, revealing..
A SPACESHIP.
The SAOTOMÉ island is an ancient SPACESHIP.
Now the familiar BLUE LIGHT appears across the surface of TELANON. ELEVEN is teleporting people out from the beaches, fields, mountains, forests, cities, towns, villages, as they crumble from the crust of the ship.
BLUE LIGHTS flash incandescently. 150.000 people being teleported away from the surface inside of the ship.
No-one falls off.
The voice of TELANON sounds through the air, powerful, god-like, and reaching NIKIYATU.
TELANON
I have woken. These are my people. MALVADO, you have forgotten I am the guardian of HYPERSPACE. Without my permission THOU SHALT NOT PASS.
TELANON
You will not put far away worlds into danger. I AM the GUARDIAN. I DECIDE who controls the STONES.
MALVADO
You are wrong.
MALVADO
We have gathered enough STONES to BUILD A NEW HYPERDRIVE. Now we just have to STOP YOU.
A GROUP of DARK ROBES appears to stop ELEVEN.
BOOM he blows a blue light from a stone.
ELEVEN
That’s for my brother!
BOOM.
ELEVEN
That’s for my sister!
A GROUP OF DARK ROBES vanishes into dust.
Inside the ship the 150 000 people are surprised and need to figure out how to continue living inside the world.
Birds escaped from trees, are now flying around the slowly rising monster. It floats as a huge green and dark brown cloud in the sky, roots of plants still hangind from edges, and sticking out from sides.
We see a bubble forming around NIKIYATU SPACESHIP as TELANON rises. And presently, we cut to..
[3 > ROOTS]
Inside the ship — the people.
While outside, it’s war, inside TELANON is a city within a ship. With all the drama of people within it fervently trying to get answers. Many questions on their tongue. What is happening? Where are we going? Who’s doing this? Is it true we come from SPACE?
The space is filled with thousands of people. Gathered in groups they look for their family, friends.
Some desperate, yelling.
But now they quiet, as above them the ceiling becomes transparent, and we see —
— The NIKIYATU SPACESHIP within a protective bubble is arming it’s weapons. Huge cannons directed towards us..
Families shaking in fear.. unable to understand what they see.
NIKIYATY release the rockets.
And we cut to..
[4 > STARWARS]
Continued. SPACE.
Suddenly, rolling in from left the CANDONGA space ranger enters, headed directly towards the NIKIYATU mothership. Huge battle among the spaceships ensues. Ships fly in from left and right, thrusters booming.
J.C.
Happy to see you, IMBONDEIRO!
Torpedoes fly back and forward, lens flare glaring.
And we cut to..
[5 > BELIEF]
Meanwhile. TELANON — ON DECK.
Stars glisten through the spaceship’s windscreen as we J.C. on deck giving a speech to the thousands of people below in the space.
J.C.
You may not understand what’s happening now.
J.C.
We have had to leave home. Many of us are dead.
J.C.
And we are under attack.
J.C.
But our alliance is strong. We have been joined by my master CANDONGA. We will survive!
Suddenly — everything goes dark and the speech is cut short. The darkness gradually gives way to a dawning light.
In front of us…
MALVADO SPACESHIP locking on with all it’s power AGAIN — and it releases the rockets..
They are closing in on us..
MALVADO
Goodbye.
And we cut to..
[6 > CANDONGA]
Continued. SPACE.
CANDONGA enters from above thrusters burning. At the absolute last moment it intercepts the rockets with a POWERFIELD. Presently, CANDONGA ship blasts the NIKIYUATU ship with all it’s power, red lasers and beams flashing.
But it is too strong.
MALVADO
Jump! Now!
NIKIYUATU release a rocket, turn and using the BLUE STONES it perform a HYPERJUMP to another side of the ship, attacking it from both sides.
BOOM.
The IMPERIAL GUARD is consumed by the fireball and In a huge explosion the CANDONGA is torn into pieces and we hear the screams of people in the space as people on the ship die.
We linger and cut to..
[7 > WEAKENED]
Meanwhile. THE MOON.
Thousands of people are looking up towards the SKY seeing spaceships fight before them.
They see CANDONGA destroyed, and with it IMBONDEIRO, their hope.
TITICA
We need retribution!
They now lift their hands to the sky and a BLUE LIGHT beams out from their fingers.
In their midst is TITICA glowing stronger than others and emitting her VOICE.
The moon explodes. A BLUE LIGHT shoots out from the moon disabling the MALVADO fleet.
They disappear.
Now TELANON tackles THE MALVADO SHIP and blasts their HYPERDRIVE into pieces.
Together with their LEVITATION FORCE thousands of people help destroy the MALVADO ship and TELEPORT it to a FARAWAY GALAXY.
NIKIYUATU are weakened. They are unlikely to return to EARTH.
But MALVADO manages to teleport out of the ship and appears on TELANON holding JANDIRA hostage with a gun on her head.
We cut to..
[8 > SALVATION]
Meanwhile. TELANON — ON DECK.
J.C. is facing MALVADO.
J.C.
Release JANDIRA!
MALVADO
You will never have her.
J.C.
You give me my girl, and get off my planet!
MALVADO
Gladly. Prepare a teleport for me to TOTAIINE.
Suddenly — JANDIRA ducks below MALVADO, and gets his gun. But MALVADO hits her to the ground, where she stays lieing.
Now J.C. jumps in and hits MALVADO.
They fights to the edge of a precipice of the cargo hall, struggling dangerously close to the edge.
JANDIRA is still down on the ground and J.C. sees her hurt badly. With that newfound power he overcomes MALVADO and pushes him to the ledge.
And he kicks MALVADO off the edge. MALVADO is sucked into the empty cargo bay, where the ship has been hit and vacuum crushes him to small pieces that spread around the ships visor.
Before the eyes of thousands, the space remains quiet, just debris of spaceships floating in space.
We linger for a long moment…
[9 > PAYOFF]
Later. TELANON — INSIDE SHIP.
The moon is bright grey in the sky.
JANDIRA has recovered. J.C. and JANDIRA slowly cruise over the sky. Rays of light illuminate the blue glowing planet below them.

J.C. and JANDIRA looking towards the planet EARTH.
Kiss with the sunlight glittering in the background, and predawn light trickles through her hair.
JANDIRA gives J.C. the look and J.C. and JANDIRA dance slowly and time seems to stop between them.
Bodies glistening in the starlight, her fingers dig into his back. He breaches heavily into her ear as she runs her fingers through his hair.
Droplets of water shining like pearls on their bodies, he pushes her against the windscreen.
Stars above and below her pulsate.
[10 > HOME]
Later. SPACE.
We see the EARTH.
A strange quiet ensues. A vast sea of stars.
TELANON passes over the moon.
JANDIRA
I want to see home.
J.C. and JANDIRA stand at the screen looking at the blue planet — EARTH.
J.C.
This is our home.
JANDIRA
How do you know?
There is no argument as they watch ELEVEN load blue stones into the ship control system, activate the HYPERVORTEX travel mode, and push GO.
A blue glow forms and in front a BLUE WORTEX — the ship jumps into HYPERSPACE.
