Microsoft Azure

Microsoft Azure is a cloud computing service that is fulfilled by Microsoft via it’s data centres. It provides SaaS (software as a service), PaaS (platform as a service) and IaaS (infrastructure as a service) and supports many programming languages, tools, and frameworks, which includes both Microsoft-specific and third-party software and systems.

Microsoft Azure is ever-expanding and it’s cloud-based computing services are available to businesses, developers, government agencies, and anyone who wants to run an enterprise without having to manage hardware.

· It’s free to start and you pay only for the services you opt for.

· Azure supports multiple programming languages like Python, Java, Node Js, and C#.

Microsoft Azure features

Azure provides 200+ services that are divided into 18 orders. These orders include computing, networking, storehouse, IoT, migration, mobile, analytics, holders, artificial intelligence, and other machine literacy, integration, operation tools, inventor tools, security, databases, DevOps, media identity, and web services.

Compute Services:

Virtual Machine

This service creates a virtual machine in Windows, Linux or any other configuration in seconds.

Cloud Service

This service creates scalable applications on the cloud. Azure takes care of everything, including provisioning, load balancing, and health monitoring once the application is deployed.

Service Fabric

Microsoft Azure has service fabric, it is the process of developing a microservice and it is immensely simplified. Microservice is an application which has other smaller applications bundled.

Azure functions helps in creating a applications in any programming language. Azure takes care of the hardware requirements while developing applications.

Networking:

Azure CDN

Azure Content Delivery Network (CDN) is a high bandwidth CDN that is used in delivering content to any person around the globe. It uses a network of servers that are placed strategically around the globe for fast content delivery.

Express Route

This Microsoft Azure service lets us connect the on-premise network to the Microsoft cloud or any other services through a private connection. The communications will happen only between the enterprise network and the selected services.

Azure DNS

This Azure service allows hosting your DNS domains or system domains.

Blob Storage

This Azure service is optimized to store huge amounts of unstructured data, like texts and even binary data.

File Storage

Azure provides a file storage service that can be accessed via aSMB (server message block) protocol.

Queue Storage

Queue storage provides a stable message queuing large workloads and it can be accessed worldwide.
