Deploy A Java Application To Kubernetes With Cloud Foundry

Everyone is eager to use Kubernetes these days. Well, for all the right reasons! Kubernetes is among the fastest growing open source projects ever, and it brings so many advantages for organizations making use of them.

Here’s a small video that teaches you how to deploy a simple Java application to Kubernetes. It makes use of the popular Java Spring pet-clinic application to demonstrate how a Java application is deployed to Kubernetes using Cloud Foundry.

Cloud Foundry and Kubernetes work in tandem thanks to cf-for-k8s, an open source project of the Cloud Foundry Foundation. CF-for-k8s provides the familiar Cloud Foundry developer experience over Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
