The new page layout feature in Cloud Pathology offers total control over how you want your report to look like.

At times, it may be very crucial to define a fixed report structure for printing of the reports. There may be requirements such as

  1. Fixed printing sequence such as CBC on page 1, Urine Routine on page 2 etc.
  2. We may want to combine several tests under one common heading (Blood Sugar Fasting and PP under biochemistry heading)

If any of the points sound relevant to you, read on.. You are in for a treat because Cloud Pathology offers the easiest, most convenient way to precisely layout your report printing. What’s more? It allows you to save the layout specification, so you’ll only have to do it once. beautiful, isn’t it ?

How to set custom layout for a report

Select a patient, and click on “Page Layout”.

Click on Page Layout

Page determines page number, whereas position specifies relative position for tests on the same page.

In the given example, there are three tests: Fasting, PP, and Creatinine. Suppose we want to combine them on the same page in following order : Fasting first, then PP, then creatinine, all one beneath another. Then we have to keep their page number as “1” and positions as “1",” 2", “3” respectively.

You can also use keyboard arrow keys navigate around. Once you are done, press ctrl + enter, or the assign button to save the page layout for this patient

If you would like to apply this layout for all future tests of fasting, PP, and creatinine, you can click on “Save Permanently”

below is the produced report

Noe let’s say, if we don’t want the individual test headings to appear, we just want a common page heading of Biochemistry, then just enter the page heading value for all tests to “Biochemistry” in the previous dialog.

Common Page heading for all tests
This report is then produced.
