AWS CloudFormation Macros perform custom processing on CloudFormation templates. CloudFormation Macros use the same technology that powers AWS::Include and AWS::Serverless transforms.
6. New features for S3 Select [11]
New formats are now supported by S3 Select: Apache Parquet, JSON Arrays, and BZIP2 compression for CSV and JSON objects.
Also, S3 Select metrics are now available in CloudWatch.
