What is a SLA (Service Level Agreement)?

For any kind of cloud service there is a contract, this contract defines the level of availability of the services that you have gotten.

For example, for Microsoft Windows Azure provider you can review here: Azure SLA, for Amazon Windows Services provider its here: AWS

What happen if the provider doesn’t cover the SLA? You will get a refund based on the coverage defined in the contract.
