Cloud4RPi Update: shared control panels, map widget, data export, and more

We are happy to announce our new update for the Сloud4RPi platform. This update includes performance optimizations, UI improvements, and functionality enhancements including the following major features:

Shared control panels

You can now share your control panels with other people, even with those who don’t have a Cloud4RPi account. Shared panels are read-only, so this is safe. To share a control panel, just provide a short link that you can obtain on the control panel page.

Data export

You can now export your device data to a CSV file. You can specify a date range for which to export data.

Map widget

It is now possible to send geographical data from a device and display it on a map widget within a control panel. Take a look at the documentation for the details on how to send the location data.

Error journal

We introduced the runtime error journal to facilitate device setup. The error journal is updated in real time to help identify problems.

Unlimited packet rate

With this update, we replaced the spending rate limit of 60 packets per minute with a configurable ‘packets per hour’ option. You can now receive 10000 free packets every month and spend these packets at any rate. You can also purchase more packets, and unused packets are carried over to the next month. You can monitor the packet usage stats from the web UI.
