CloudCoin update: the new software should launch in May

Consortium programmers are still busy at work on the new ‘advanced client’ software. The graphical user interface (GUI) is officially completed and tested; the final release is still targeted before the end of this month.

The latest version incorporates several features and new functionality which have led to delays in release.

“Satoshi Nakamoto spent two years developing his code before he released Bitcoin into production. I released CloudCoin after just one month of creating the Founders software,” CloudCoin founder Sean Worthington said, “We are now two years into development.
