NEWS: Cloudcoin tokens now trading on BitShares
The first transactions of BitShares CloudCoin tokens (CLOUDCOIN) took place earlier this week. Both buyers and sellers are now posting offers using the BitShares Decentralized Exchange (DEX).
The conversion of CloudCoin (the currency) for CLOUDCOIN (the tokens) is still being conducted manually, but that will change in the next few days. Testing is ongoing of the automated version, which is expected to go online in the next few days.
“The final piece of the puzzle is protecting CloudCoin users with SSL. We expect everything to be ready to go by Monday or Tuesday,” Sean Worthington, CloudCoin lead scientist, said.
Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is a standard security protocol for establishing encrypted links between a web server and a browser in an online communication. SSL technology ensures that all data transmitted between the web server and browser remains encrypted.
