What if we give up working hard

Working hard doesn’t always bring the promised reward.

And it’s not because you didn’t work smart enough.

It just happens.

Sometimes we work our arses off on projects with hardly any rest or social interaction.

To our obsession of working hard we often bury even relationships.

And in the end — even if we get to the desired goal — somehow we don’t feel fulfilled.

It seems to be our nature. To focus so hard on the goal achieved in the future instead of enjoying the journey right now.

Maybe that’s why the satisfation keeps slipping between our fingers.

Personally I tried lots of stuff. I did that because I wanted to experience joy and achieve my goals at the same time.

And life taught me one thing.

Just forget about working hard.

Do yourself a favour and do not work hard for once in a while.

Instead of that try enjoying the journey as much as you can. Play. Have fun.

Because playing and having fun is what we’re here for.

What I believe we’re here for.

In the end giving up hard work quite possibly never killed anybody. Or anything.

While working hard? It did.

Many times.
