re:Invent is the largest gathering of the Amazon Web Services community from across the globe — this year AWS expects more than 24,000 attendees! With registration now open, act fast before tickets run out. Once that’s said and done, follow our top tips to help you get the most out of your re:Invent experience this November.

Use AWS’s codes for hotel/flight deals

Once you’ve registered for your tickets, be sure to book your flights well in advance. AWS secured discount rates on rooms at the Venetian, Palazzo, The Wynn, and The Mirage. Additionally, check out the AWS website to get discount codes for airfare.

#PROTIP: Always try to book the Palazzo if you can, but if all the other hotels are sold out already, Treasure Island is also very close by (although very cheesy).

Plan your calendar in advance

The session catalog will be posted later this summer (including 400+ sessions), and will allow you to begin scheduling your agenda one month before the event. Once you’ve figured out your session level, start adding everything that interests you to your calendar.

#PROTIP: This year, putting a session on your calendar will mean your seat is automatically reserved. No more standing in the back corner.
